Pretext Privacy Policy
Pretext is developed by AnyOracle. This app is designed as an offline self-reflection tool. We do not collect, transmit, or sell personal data.
Data Collection
Pretext does not collect personal information, analytics events, advertising identifiers, or usage data on external servers.
Third-Party Services
Pretext does not use third-party analytics SDKs, ad SDKs, or tracking services.
Local Storage
Your entries and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple frameworks such as SwiftData and UserDefaults. Some values are shared between the app and widget via Apple App Group storage. Data is removed when the app is uninstalled.
Notifications
Pretext uses local notifications generated on-device. No push notification server is used by Pretext.
In-App Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Pretext does not process payments directly and does not store payment card information.
Children's Privacy
Pretext is rated 12+. Because Pretext does not collect personal data, no personal data is knowingly collected from children or adults.

We may update this policy over time. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
